Note 1: Gantham. – Previously reported as missing Aug., 1944, now known to have been killed when attempting to regain our lines in Normandy, Squadron Leader Frederick Andros (Derick) Grantham D.F.C., R.A.F.V.R., aged 28, husband of Beatrice (nee Goodbody) of Dewhurst Lodge, Rotherfield and the youngest son of the late Mr. W. W. Grantham K.C., and Mrs Grantham of Chailey, Sussex. No letters, please.

Note 2: Grantham Frederick Andros of Dewhurst Lodge Rotherfield Sussex died 14 August 1944 on war service Probate Llandudlo 30 January to William Ivor Grantham Wing Commander R.A.F. Lady Myrtle Irene Newton (wife of sir Henry Kottingham Newton baronet) and Reginald Anthony Goodbody captain H.M. Army. Effect £6845 4s. 2d.
