Edward was buried on 1 February 1730/1 in Warbleton. I have not found a will for him listed in the indexes held at the East Sussex Record Office. From before or about 1670, Edward held the under tenancy of Brickhouse also known as Brickoastfield. The tenancy was held by Joseph Store. By 1707 this property had transferred to Samuel Store and [---] Tutt was occupying the house only which was said to be on the west side of the street in Warbleton near the church. From at least 1692 until sometime between 1711 and 1720 he was the tenant of Catsdown in Warbleton (map ref TQ 6118). The tenancy was then passed to John Wilmshurst, junior by 1720, and he was followed by Stephen Wilmshurst who was the owner occupier of Catsdown from at least 1750 until sometime between 1780 and 1790. From sometime between 1711 and 1720 he became the tenant of Bathurst in Warbleton (map ref TQ 6217) and Beaconlands in Warbleton (map ref TQ 6119), and these tenancies then passed to Stephen Tutt in 1731.

Sarah Wilmshurst was born on 20 May 1656 and her birth was registered in the Warbleton parish registers. She was the daughter of Stephen Wilmshurst (c1615-1700) and Susannah Brightridge (1628-1708). She was buried on 16 February 1716/7 in Warbleton.

Edward Tutt and Sarah Wilmshurst had 11 known children:

1. Sarah Tutt was baptised on 21 November 1680 in Warbleton.
2. Stephen Tutt was baptised on 20 January 1681/2 in Warbleton and buried there on 10 February 1681/2.
3. Susannah Tutt was baptised on 2 September 1683 in Warbleton and buried there on 19 December 1688.
4. Stephen Tutt, was baptised on 13 September 1685 in Warbleton. He married Sarah Glyd (1691-?) in 1715.
5. Edward Tutt was baptised on 28 August 1687 in Warbleton. Did he marry Ann Britt on 31 March 1719 in East Hoathly, Sussex?
6. John Tutt was baptised on 24 May 1689 in Warbleton and buried there on 29 August 1689.
7. Ann Tutt was baptised on 3 February 1690/1 in Warbleton.
8. Mary Tutt was baptised on 14 February 1693/4 in Warbleton. Did she marry James Ticehurst on 30 March 1719 in Hellingly? James and Mary were both then of Hellingly.
9. Simon Tutt was baptised on 2 September 1695 in Warbleton and buried there on 25 June 1698.
10. John Tutt was baptised on 21 November 1697 in Warbleton.

John married Elizabeth Baker on 12 May 1724 in Warbleton. They were both then of Warbleton.

John and Elizabeth had 6 known children:
1. Mary Tutt was baptised on 4 April 1725 in Warbleton. She was buried on 4 January 1802 in Herstmonceux.

Mary married Robert Pattenden on 6 February 1751/2 in Herstmonceux. He was then a bachelor and she a spinster.

Robert was baptised on 6 February 1721/2 in Hailsham, Sussex and was the son of John Pattenden (1698-1773) and Jane Adds (1698-1761). He was buried on 9 May 1803 in Herstmonceux.

Robert and Mary had 4 known children:
1. John Pattenden was baptised on 14 August 1752 in Herstmonceux. He died on 3 February and was buried on 8 February 1815 in Warbleton. He left a will which was dated 1 July 1812 and proved on 12 April 1815. It recorded that he was a yeoman of Warbleton. John married Elizabeth Gorringe by licence on 4 March 1783 in Hellingly, Sussex. He was then of Warbleton and she of Hellingly. The witnesses to the marriage were William Penn and Henry Blunden. She was born in 1755 and was the daughter of John Gorringe (1727-1770) and Elizabeth (?-1774). Elizabeth was buried in Warbleton on 28 October 1822. John and Elizabeth had 5 known children.
2. Robert Pattenden was baptised on 24 April 1754 in Herstmonceux. He was buried on 22 June 1821 in Burwash. He left a will dated 9 February 1814 which was proved on 15 September 1821. It recorded that he was a farmer of Burwash. He married twice. Firstly to Mary Blundel by licence dated 28 June 1782, which was issued by the Archdeaconry of Lewes. It recorded that Robert was a bachelor aged 25 years and upwards and a yeoman of Burwash, Sussex. She was a spinster aged 22 years and upwards and also of Burwash. Surety for the marriage licence was provided by John Freeland of Burwash. Robert then married Margaret Johnson by licence on 29 May 1794 in Burwash. As Margaret Moon she had previously married Richard Johnson by licence on 2 October 1790 in Burwash.
3. Mary Pattenden was baptised on 16 April 1756 in Herstmonceux.
4. Sarah Pattenden was baptised on 5 February 1768 in Herstmonceux. She married Stephen Stace by banns on 30 December 1790 in Herstmonceux. He was then of Wartling, Sussex.
2. Stephen Tutt was baptised on 1 March 1726 in Warbleton.
3. Elizabeth Tutt was baptised in 18 July 1729 in Warbleton.
4. Edward Tutt was baptised on 16 May 1731 in Warbleton.
5. John Tutt was baptised on 26 January 1734 in Warbleton.
6. Sarah Tutt was baptised on 19 June 1736 in Warbleton. She married Samuel French by banns on 31 August 1761 in Willingdon, Sussex. They were both then of Willingdon. The witnesses to the marriage were John Alwork and Geroge Markwick. He was baptised on 17 October 1725 in Warbleton and was the son of John French (1693-1771) and Ann Brand (1700-1774).
11. Thomas Tutt was baptised on 21 March 1698/9 in Warbleton and buried there on 13 July 1702.
