| !851 England & Wales Census shows that Ellen was living with Henry Hollis Howett (resident) at 15 Park Street, Marylebone in London along with her sisters Jane and Francis Crews. The original record shows that Henry Hollis was married to Ellen's aunt, Ann Branscombe (written as Ann Bran. Howlett). Henry and Ann don't seem to have any children of their own. So for some reason they were bringing up both Frances and Ellen. |
